KINDERGARTEN
The goal of the instructional program in the kindergarten classes is to
build an educational foundation that encourages a love for God, a love
for learning, and a desire to serve others. Classes are designed to
provide a positive first experience with school.
Children participate in developmentally appropriate activities that
prepare them for 1st grade. The curriculum for all students includes
Bible, a phonics-based language arts program, math, science, social
studies, music, physical development, and art activities. Students have
daily outside play time. Kindergarten students also attend library,
music, Spanish, and physical education classes.
Students must be five years old by September 1, to enroll in
kindergarten classes. Kindergarten students must pass a screening prior
to enrollment.
